Summit Fever on your phone

Put the site on your home screen and it opens like an app. Save the route guides before you drive out, and they still open at the trailhead with no signal.

iPhone or iPad

Open this page in Safari.
Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow).
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Android

Open this page in Chrome.
Tap Install the app above, or open the ⋮ menu and tap Install app (or Add to Home screen).

Computer

In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
On a Mac in Safari, use File → Add to Dock.

Use it with no signal

Most trailheads have no cell service. Anything you open while you have signal is kept on your phone automatically. To be sure, save what you need before you leave home.

Save every route guide

All peak pages, route write-ups, lists and GPX tracks. About 11 MB. Photos are kept only for pages you open.

You can also save a single mountain: open its page and tap Save for offline in the plan box.

What needs a signal

Live weather. With no signal you'll see the last forecast you loaded, marked with the time it was saved.
3D flyovers and trail videos. These stream from the internet.
Map links open your map app, which has its own offline settings.
