Basecamp
Terms of Use
The plain-language terms for using Summit Fever Colorado and posting in Basecamp.
Using the site
You can use this site for free to plan and learn about climbs in Colorado. You must be 13 or older to create an account. Follow the Community Rules.
Mountains are dangerous
Climbing and hiking at high altitude can injure or kill you. Route descriptions, maps, 3D flyovers, GPX tracks, weather and member reports can be wrong or out of date. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety. Summit Fever Colorado is not responsible for injuries, losses or rescues that happen while using information from this site.
What you post
You keep ownership of the reports and photos you post. By posting, you give Summit Fever Colorado permission to show, store, resize and share them on this site, its app and its social pages, with credit to your handle. You confirm the words and photos are yours to share. You can delete your posts at any time.
What we can do
We can decline, remove or edit posts and close accounts that break the rules or the law. We can change or stop parts of the site at any time.
Check-in texts
The Check-in tool writes a text message on your own phone. It does not send anything by itself, track you, or call for help. Make sure someone you trust gets your plan and knows to call 911 if you are overdue.
